Dr. Liane Malinowski is assistant professor of Writing Studies at the University of Minnesota Twin Cities where she teaches and researches feminist rhetorics, archival research, and rhetorical history. She is the author of City Housekeeping: Women’s Labor Rhetorics and Spaces for Solidarity, 1886-1911. Her book follows Progressive reformers and garment workers who came together in Chicago’s early women’s labor movement to reimagine work and solidarity by drawing from diverse practices and traditions.
