Her academic credentials include a PhD in rhetoric and technical communication, a long CV from several institutional affiliations as a professor for 14 years, a library publisher for nearly 5 years, and editor of the longest continuously running scholarly multimedia journal in the world. She is also editor of several other pedagogical publications and directs a non-profit organization for journal editors. She is currently a digital nomad, traveling the US in her hybrid car and consulting on digital scholarly publishing projects wherever the universe takes her.
