In 1 Corinthians, Paul opens the letter with thanksgiving and the first issue he addresses regarding the church of Corinth is the division that is amongst them. He calls them to be joined together under the foundation of Christ, the only foundation there is. Paul gives a reminder of who died for their sins, who's name they were baptized in, and what they are called to. Let's see all that we can pull out of this text as we dive in the passage.
