Having it’s 35th Anniversary is the Steven Spielberg film based on Alice Walker’s Pulitzer Prize winning novel, The Color Purple. As you will find out by listening to this episode, both of the Avid Indoorsmen had never seen this 11 time Academy Award nominated film, but it happened to be one of our guest’s favorite movies ever, the one and only Emoni Wilkins! We were looking for an excuse to bring Emoni onto the podcast and when she mentioned The Color Purple was a film she adored and we saw it was on Hulu and celebrating an anniversary, it was too good to pass up! We had such a good time hearing Emoni’s thoughts on this classic and we ended the episode by playing a super fun game of Last Man Stanton.
