The days between the resurrection and the Day of Pentecost are not what any of Jesus’s followers expected. There was disappointment. Expectations about Jesus were not met. Even though Jesus said what he was going to do, the disciples did not keep an open mind for HOW Jesus would do what he said. God will ALWAYS do what He says He will do, but according to HIS plans, not ours!
