Listen "Hannah Finchamp on High Performance, community, and the power of intuition "
Episode Synopsis
Today we take a deep dive into the world of high performance, adventure, and the power of will through the lens of professional cyclist, Hannah Finchamp.
For the uninitiated, Hannah was named to the Olympic Long Team in 2020 and in 2022 won the infamous Leadville 100 MTB. The lead out to these results started at age 9, when Hannah began her journey as a triathlete. Before turning 18 she became a 2x XTERRA Amateur World Champion and 2x high school State Champion through NICA. As a five-time collegiate cycling National Champion it was clear that Hannah likes to race bikes. So she kept leaning into it. Through a lot of dedication to the craft, elation, and let down, Hannah has represented USA Cycling on the World Championship XCO stage numerous times. She also has a degree in exercise science and athletic training.
But Hannah’s formal resume falls short when it comes to describing her innovative approach to an ever-changing sport in an ever-changing world.
Today Hannah shares her approach to discipline and the power of will, balancing ambition with self-care, and the power of technology in day-to-day training when coupled with good guidance.
This is a listen that just might redefine how you approach day-to-day operations and reminds us that process > outcomes.
Hammer on,
