Listen "Lights, iPhone 14, Action"
Episode Synopsis
Former Editor-in-Chief of The Mac Observer Bryan Chaffin joins host Charlotte Henry to discuss the iPhone 14 event. What does the latest batch of iPhones mean for media creation and consumption? In particular, they discuss how the constant improvements in smartphone cameras means they have almost entirely overtaken entry-level DSLRs. There was certainly a lot packed into Apple’s “Far Out” show. As is always the case at the company’s events at this time of year, the latest iPhone took centre stage. The most notable thing there was the introduction of the iPhone 14 Plus - it has all the same features as the standard iPhone along with a larger 6.7” display. The implications for media consumption are obvious. The increased screen size in the iPhone 14 Plus makes it a much more tempting device on which to read or watch content. The new Touch Controls on the AirPods Pro is a nice feature too.* The Power of Podcasts in 2022 - The Addition podcast with Dave Hamilton* Apple Event — September 7* Apple debuts iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max* Apple introduces iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus* Apple announces the next generation of AirPods Pro* Apple reveals Apple Watch Series 8 and the new Apple Watch SE* Introducing Apple Watch Ultra* https://geektells.com/* Bryan Chaffin on Twitter on Twitter* Charlotte Henry on Twitter This is a public episode.
