In 2014, Amazon released the Amazon Echo, which was the world's first smart speaker. Much better known by the name you can use it with (Alexa) the second generation came out in 2016, and it was then followed by the 3rd generation one in 2019.Other models have came out since -- such as the 4th generation and 5th generation in 2020 and 2022.
