Listen "Let It Go"
Episode Synopsis
Here is today's communion meditation.
Lately we have talked about having "One Great Day." To focus on having one really great day where we bring God into the day with us, have the fruit of the Spirit flowing, walk in love, take action on what we know to do, and connect with people.
But to have one great day requires us not dwelling on things we shouldn't be dwelling on. To have a great day today we have to keep our mind fixed on what is lovely, just, true, pure, right, excellent, praiseworthy, and of good report. If we are going to have a great day, we don't have time waster by dwelling on all of the ways people annoy us and wrong us or to spend a bunch of time magnifying whatever problems we are facing. We have to learn to let those things go and change our focus.
In today's communion we are asking God to help us let go of the things that typically weigh us down in a day and redirect our focus so that we walk out One Great Day... TODAY.
Today's Health and Fitness Tip
In our health and fitness we also have to let things go. If you have a bad meal, something goes wrong, your weight/measurements weren't what you were hoping for... don't let those things steal your day. Instead.... let it go and get right back on track. Through the years of coaching people in health and fitness I have observed that it's pretty common for people to get a little discourage and then very quickly be totally off track.
