Tara is an Independent Educational Consultant helping students and their families in the college planning process. Tara is based in NJ and works with students both locally and nationally. Tara offers Comprehensive packages, Hourly Block Rates and free webinars.  Tara believes in meeting the unique needs of each student and helping them discover their path.  Tara is an associate member of IECA, NACAC & NJACAC. She is a co-advisor for the IECA Consultants with Young Children Affinity Group. Tara is a 2021 graduate of the IECA Summer Training Institute.  Prior to becoming an IEC, Tara spent ten years as a high school counselor for a large public school district in NJ. She managed a caseload of 325 students in grades 9-12, and learned how the college application process is integrated into public schools.  Tara holds a Bachelor's Degree from Rutgers University and a Master's Degree in Educational Counseling from The College of New Jersey.  Tara lives with her husband and children in NJ.
