In this week's episode, I finally give my initial thoughts around Ryan Coogler's film "Sinners." For me, the film was a lesson in all things African cosmology including African futurism, Nommo (or the power of the spoken word), and Diaspora consciousness. Needless to say it was EVERYTHING I wanted it to be and some of what I couldn't have even imagined. I'll share who I think the real griot of the film was (please let me know if you agree!).
