Have you ever thought to yourself “I wonder if it’s possible to do this with NetApp?” Or, how about “I hear what my sales team is saying, but I’m not sure how it will behave with my application.” Well, we have the answer for you, and the answer is the Customer Proof-of-Concept (CPOC) lab. The CPOC team is dedicated to showing NetApp functionality and integration with customer applications, using real customer data, simulated tests, and sometimes just raw benchmarks by mimicking portions of customer environments. This week we feature Neto from Brazil (@netofrombrazil), a NetApp legend and database performance specialist on the CPOC team. Neto talks with us about the CPOC, it’s function in the company, and how customers can request an engagement from the team. He also happens to be one of NetApp’s premier Oracle specialists, so we take the opportunity to talk about database workloads when using NetApp All-Flash FAS.
