We all say that relationships are hard work, and the “hard” doesn’t necessarily mean anything related to intense or physical labour—for instance, your ability to practice self-control when all you want to do is let loose because your spouse hurt you. But the truth about the whole matter is that relationships are challenging. And sometimes, we make them more complicated than they already are by doing certain things. But, some might say, I am human, so just let me be. A friendly reminder; remember your wedding vows.
Anyone can say they believe that relationships require work, but the more challenging question is how many are willing to do the work when it comes. So, in this episode, I discussed a few things we do that make relationships way harder than it needs to be.
