Jonah: God's Heart for the WorldMany people think that in the Old Testament, God's concern was limited to the people of Israel. But the book of Jonah shows us otherwise. God called Jonah to preach to Israel's enemies in Nineveh. When Jonah ran the other way, God pursued him until he went. When Jonah objected that the people of Nineveh didn't deserve God's mercy, God reminded Jonah that he didn't deserve God's mercy either. In the book of Jonah we are encouraged to see and to share God's heart for the world.
