Mass Readings were as follows:
Jeremiah 38:4-6, 8-10
Psalm 40 -- "Lord, come to my aid!"
Hebrews 12:1-4 -- "Let us rid ourselves of every burden and sin that clings to us and persevere in running the race that lies before us while keeping our eyes fixed on Jesus."
Luke 12:49-53 -- "I have come to set the world on fire, and how I wish it were already blazing!"
