When Empire Mental Health Support began in 2020, they had a mission of supporting “mental health wellness in the Sioux Empire by working with the justice system, lawmakers, and community leaders to promote empathy and equal rights for those facing mental health challenges.” Part of the mission at Empire Mental Health Support is educating others and advocating for people whose lives have been changed by a mental health diagnosis. That mental health lesson could start with dance. “Dancing With The Sioux Falls Stars” is informative and competitive! Local Sioux Falls celebrities with their dancing partners will put on their dancing shoes on Saturday, October 18th at the District. Phyllis Arends wih Empire Mental Health Support and local celebrity Gabe Dannenbring and his Dance Pro McKenzie Kock join he program to tell us all about the fun. Tickets are still available too!
