Amanda isn't superhuman, the NO's do affect her, but she's learned that it's important to use your resilience muscle and remind yourself to step back and have a process for reflection. Amanda shares her biggest, most devastating NO came when she was turned down to travel to Thailand with her school, but she didn't give up! One way that Amanda is growing her business this year is by making connections and getting to know new people. Amanda learned at an early age that every NO is just a data point, and that emotion should be removed. "My initial reaction to a NO is to emotionally react when there's negative feedback, or I want to emotionally react when there's a NO. I'm not a robot that's superhuman." ~ Amanda Bond Give yourself time and space to feel disappointed when hearing a NO, but then step back and start looking at the data, and analyze it to see what can be done differently. Amanda shares how she does gives herself space to feel disappointed, and then uses it as a data point, with a real life example from a previous client of hers. Amanda gets vulnerable and shares her most accomplished NO, which involves a huge influencer and a WHITE HOT NO (which is a clue to who wanted to work with her).
