Chris Holifield is a Realtor at Keller Williams and decided to get into real estate because of his popular local podcast, I Am Salt Lake. Chris started his podcasting journey over a decade ago and has produced over five hundred episodes with locals and family-owned businesses in the Salt Lake Valley.

When Chris started his podcast, he didn’t have an ideal space to create a studio. Then, one of his friends suggested a real estate office downtown, and Chris went in to talk to him about making the office his home studio for podcasting.

Having a less-than-optimal view of real estate agents, Chris never considered one until he met Cody. “Chatting with Cody and finding out that Cody’s attitude was one of building Salt Lake City into the city I want to build it into really resonated with me.”

At that point, he started tossing around the idea of getting into real estate. Then he thought, why not sell a piece of Salt Lake to others that were like-minded? Finally, after several years passed and gaining a Utah realtor sponsor, Chris was ready to start getting serious about getting his Utah real estate license.
