Today is a continuation of last episodes topic of what is healthy exercise. In society today a lot of us like to join groups to apply some competition and community to our fitness journey. An example of this is camp gladiator. Lori goes over the impact things like this have on women’s bodies. The main issue with these programs is they only offer one side of the homeostasis equation. After a lot of Aerobic exercise, it is important to do Anerobic exercises to bring your body back into homeostasis. Lori gives some examples of aerobic and anerobic exercises to help our listeners be able to understand both. Lori’s Stretch 4 Life course has a section called Stretch 4 Sports that has guided videos of stretches and exercises that will help you get your body back to homeostasis. You can find her course on her website and we will also put the link below. Have you ever noticed when you injure a part of your body it’s hot and swollen? That means you have an infection and uric acid. We need to do something to drain these away. That’s why it’s important to make sure your body is back in homeostasis to rebalance.
