For this week’s Strength Chat, I was joined by the current French, European and World Powerlifting Champion, Lya Bavoil. To have the opportunity to speak with a lifter of the calibre of Lya was awesome. You can see that she loves powerlifting and that reflects in the success she has on the platform, as well as the work she puts in behind the scenes. It was also great to hear how powerlifting has had such a positive impact on aspects of her life outside of the gym. Therefore, in this episode, we chatted about her journey in powerlifting so far, the role powerlifting has played on her life outside of the gym, as well as how she has grown and developed as a lifter.
