Listen "Human Terrain Mapping and Behavior Pattern Recognition (HTMBPR)"
Episode Synopsis
Join Lynn "Sherpa" Westover who served 12 years as an Infantryman, Force Reconnaissance Team Leader, and Scout Sniper in the Marine Corps. Lynn spent three months in Afghanistan unarmed and embedded, teaching Insider Threat Situational Awareness, and taught human behavior pattern recognition to members of the Special Operations Communities such as NSW, SEAL Teams, and Special Forces. Lynn is a highly sought-after trainer for first responders. HTMBPR is a science-based predictive analysis and proactive decision-making model to enhance responder scene safety, known as a six-layer concept. It's based on lessons learned from developing Human Behavior Pattern Recognition and Analysis (HBPR&A) programs for the Department of Defence. The Six Layer Concept (SLC) of human behavior pattern recognition and environmental understanding is articulated through the layers of HTMBRP including geographic, atmospheric, biometric, and kinetic data, with the goal of being able to control a reaction and direct the desired outcome of the reaction.
