In 2014, the Broadduses were looking for a new house. After all the usual hunting and searching they found a place at 657 Boulevard, in Westfield, New Jersey. Derek Broadduses was a 40 year old, Senior Vic-President of an insurance company. Maria Broaddus had been living in Westfield her entire life and grew up not far from their new home.Before the couple and their children had officially moved in at 657 Boulevard, the first of the startling letters arrived. It was June 2014, and Derek had spent the day repainting various rooms inside the house. When he had finished, he decided to check the mailbox outside. Aside from the normal bills, there was a plain white envelope addressed to the New Owner. Whoever wrote the note had apparently been watching the house for some time. The mysterious writer mentioned the Honda minivan parked in front of the house and the many contractors working on the property. Unimpressed by the ongoing renovations, The Watcher remarked, ‘Tsk, tsk, tsk … bad move. You don’t want to make 657 Boulevard unhappy.”Who ever was writing and watching knew way too much about the family.
