Tom Niziol, former MIC at the NWS-Buffalo and former Winter Weather Expert at The Weather Channel
Tom Niziol was the Winter Weather Expert for the Weather Channel from 2012-2019. Prior to that he spent 32 years of his life at the National Weather Service, first as a forecaster, then Science and Operations Officer and finally Meteorologist-In-Charge at the NWS office in Buffalo, NY.  He received his B.S. in meteorology from SUNY Oswego in 1977.
