Welcome back to another week of Stage Door Medium! This week, I’m joined by the incomparable Chilina Kennedy.  Chilina made her Broadway debut in the Stratford Festival transfer production of Jesus Christ Superstar, and from there was handpicked by Carole King to succeed Jessie Mueller in Beautiful, The Carole King Musical.  Most recently, Chilina originated the role of Dina on the national tour of The Band’s Visit. This week, we discuss sensing vibrations (For Chilina, it started in the womb as she’d rock out to her mom playing guitar while pregnant), as well as why meditation can happen anywhere and shouldn’t be as formalized as people think it is. Chilina also shares a profound piece of advice from her mother on the benefits of staying open to different types of faith and religious practices.  Chilina and I also discuss the topic of psychometry (the ability to read energy from objects) and her amazing story about identifying the piano of her late piano teacher in a theatre years after having played it!   Psychometry is also one of the reasons why I’d never try to do a reading inside an antique store.
