Rather than being afraid that God was angry with us and striving to appease God, we were “free” to serve as we have been served. Our daily life was a vacation wherever we were serving.Christian faith, founded on this word and promise of our gracious God, carries us through life into death, anticipating the fulfilment of the gift of eternal life in the place that the Lord has prepared for us.
