Welcome to episode 58 where we have a really special guest, Vi Tran, she will be talking about space medicine, keeping astronauts strong in space and much more. Vi is a medical student and aspiring space doctor from Australia. In 2020 she received a First Class for her Honours thesis about using artificial gravity to maintain the hip muscles in space. She is an alumnus of the International Space University Southern Hemisphere Space Studies Program (ISU SHSSP 2020). In her spare time, Vi is an environmental advocate, long-distance runner and STEM tutor. Her favorite space movie is 2001: A Space Odyssey.
