Hola amigos, hoy me gustaría postear un rápido video sobre mi post anterior. Mis prácticas de pixel art están centradas en la creación de personajes. En esta ocasión, a través de un cuerpo base, creé tres conceptos de personajes distintos.


Without a doubt, creating characters is a challenge, especially when we are starting out. I tried to give each character a unique personality that would differentiate them from the previous one. I was inspired by the first three Final Fantasy games, but I recommend taking a look at Final Fantasy VI, where we have different classes to choose from and each character will adopt a different appearance in each class. We can easily appreciate how clothing and accessories can influence our perception of the character. For the first character, I created an explorer. I used these colors for the clothing because I think they would identify him easily along with the hat. The second character is a red mage. Red mages are characters who can master both white and black magic. And finally, I wanted to create a blue aquatic monster. I liked it a lot, but it reminds me more of a blue mage or a character from Avatar.

Sin dudas, crear personajes es un reto, sobre todo cuando estamos empezando. Traté de dar una personalidad única a cada personaje que lo diferenciara del anterior. Me inspiré en los tres primeros Final Fantasy, pero les recomiendo dar un vistazo a Final Fantasy VI, donde tenemos distintas clases a escoger y cada personaje adoptará un aspecto distinto en cada clase. Podremos apreciar fácilmente cómo la ropa y los accesorios pueden influir en nuestra percepción del personaje. Para el primer personaje, creé un explorador. Utilicé estos colores para la ropa porque creo que lo identificarían de forma sencilla junto al sombrero. El segundo personaje es una maga roja. Los magos rojos son personajes que pueden dominar tanto la magia blanca como la negra. Y por último, quise crear un monstruo acuático de color azul. Me gustó mucho, pero me recuerda más a un mago azul o a un personaje de Avatar.
