Melissa and Wendy ponder the "Florida weave" tomato trellising technique and question whether it is real or a made-up internet thing. This led to a lesson on determinate vs. indeterminate tomatoes,  how to hand pollinate squash plants, and (logically) culminated in a discussion of amphibian intercourse.  Melissa reports on her recent hive investigation, and realizes that the honey harvest will coincide with  the holiday of Rosh Hashanah. Wendy has a scuffle with the new rooster, Goliath, on the same weekend as a sheep mishap that leaves her with a bruised hip. On a positive note, she did meet a new (human) friend.
