Rashida Jones is no stranger to the Black Mirror universe. From co-writing the hit episode "Nosedive," to being a megafan of the series — she now takes a lead role in the new Season 7 opener, "Common People."



Jones reveals why her character felt like "the most acting" of any performance and how creating a relatable, natural dynamic was essential for both thematic storytelling and viewer experience.



This month, the actor-writer-filmmaker was honored in TIME 100: The Most Influential People of 2025. Jones also shares her unabashed rejection of society's anti-aging pressures and reflects on the recent passing of her father, Quincy Jones.
