This week we chat about our creative journeys and how motherhood has changed not only our time for creative hobbies, but also our mindset. Both of us grew up with parents that encouraged and modeled creativity, but we encountered our own personal struggles along the way. We talk about our hobbies and habits before having kids, and how things changed after our firstborn (and second born!) children.
We also discuss how social media, and mom-related content has filled our brains, crowding out the space needed for creative thought.
Motherhood does not have to mean giving up creativity, but accepting that things will ebb and flow can make for a more peaceful transition. We hope that our conversation encourages and inspires you in your own creative life!
