In this episode I share about how God invites us to praise Him for His promises at the time the promise is given, not waiting until it comes to full reality. We can know that when God promises something, the promise is real and true. Some promises require our participation, but some will come to pass regardless of what we do or not. And God loves to see us delight in the gifts He gives us, including the gift of a promise when it is first spoken. There is a tension in the space between now and the future reality, but God invites us to let joy be our way of life. When you are feeling weary in that waiting period, ask God for encouragement.
