In this episode I share an excerpt where God is reminding me to release some of my overplanning tendencies and instead leave room for His Spirit to flow freely. I had asked God for guidance in preparing for a particular meeting and in response He shared wisdom intended to transform my way of life. Many of us can struggle with getting caught up in the details, often spending a lot of time and effort on things that aren’t necessary. God invites us instead to make space for Him and trust that He is there with us in every moment. While it is good to make plans, it is better to hold those plans loosely and allow God to make changes according to His greater plan and purpose. Like it says in Proverbs 16:9 (NLT), “We can make our plans, but the Lord determines our steps.”
