He was raised in a family of artists and is the son of Daniel Lugo, a prominent Puerto Rican film and television actor. He has trained at the Stella Adler Studio of Acting in NYC and is an alumni of the American Theatre Wing’s SpringboardNYC program. He most recently finished playing the roles of twin brothers Guy and Dre in the short film he co-wrote/produced called They Prefer Richards.
