The Bible makes it very clear in James 1 and Matthew 25 that God wants us to care for the “Least of These” for in doing so, we literally get the chance to caring for God Himself, and those whom He holds so dear! God said in his word that He specifically wants us to care for, the orphans; the children who have, for any number of reason, found themselves alone without the family they were born into. The trauma, loss, neglect, abuse, and abandonment that many of these children have had to face in addition to being orphaned, for most of us is simply too much to comprehend. Every year SkyWatch TV, Simply HIS Coffee Shop, and Defender Publishing, partner with you our viewers to help support and work along side ministries, like ForTheChildren.Org and their Royal Family Kids Camps to really make a difference in the lives of these children through the work done at Whispering Ponies Ranch, the non for profit ministry SkyWatch TV underwrites.Throughout the summer we work alongside these ministries to run 3 to 5 days camps where At-Risk, and Foster Children came come, meet Jesus, and get tangible help to work through the trauma’s of their past. Using a number of tools, teachings, and the interactions with our therapy horses and other animals we have seen these children find hope and start the healing and restoration process through the camps and follow-up mentoring offered, specifically to help restore children of abuse.
