Simon is one half of The Back Room with long-time friend Luke Stereo, a 21st-century Balearic acid-disco project connecting sci-fi disco, dub, acid house, balearica, afrobeat, post-punk disco and eastern rhythms. Together they run a venue at Glastonbury Festival and have played Bugged Out, The Egg London, Boomtown, Motion and more.
He is also part of Shimmy Discotheque, the Shindig Festival offshoot offering a house- and disco-led soundtrack. The team delivered the Saturday night set at this year’s Shindig Festival and Lake Paradiso.
A resident for Empathy, one of Bristol’s longest-running club nights, Simon has played with Nick Warren, Sasha & Digweed, Laurent Garnier, Danny Howells, Jody Wisternoff, and Bushwacka. He also appears nationwide with Balearic Burger’s eclectic parties.
