In the late 1800s, this expression was originally used for pouring liquid into a pump to get rid of the air and make it work. Then, in the 1930s it was applied to government efforts to stimulate the economy."
Well, today Judy and I help you prime the pump of your writing. We want to get our words out and down on paper. We want to get our ideas out into the world.
