We are going all the way back to 1935 for this week's podcast. Mutiny on the Bounty only won one Academy Award that year, but it was for Best Picture. Check out our trailer or its description for further details on the list. Directed by Frank Lloyd and starring Clark Gable, Charles Laughton, and Francois Tone, Mutiny on the Bounty is based on a book series that's based (somewhat loosely) on the true story of the Bounty, an 18th Century British ship. The ship is helmed by Captain Bligh (Laughton), whose authoritarian tactics test the loyalties of his crew.
