With all the events during the life of the Prophet ﷺ and the revelation of the Quran, it can become easy for us to overlook or forget the spiritual connection the Prophet ﷺ had with Allah. From the first verse to the last, Allah constantly reminded the Prophet ﷺ to engage in His remembrance and for the believers to follow his example.
The Prophet ﷺ would repent frequently to Allah despite being promised that all his sins are forgiven. His connection with Allah went beyond seeking the rewards in the hereafter. This talk mentions how the ibadah was of the Prophet ﷺ and what he would ask for when he would make dua.
The talk concludes by presenting the salah of the Prophet ﷺ and how we should try our best to attain a close connection with Allah so that we too may find comfort in prayer.
Below are some of the topics contained within this talk:
- What the Quran contains and its final verse.
- The meaning of 'tabattul'
- Umar r.a keeping Abdullah ibn Abbas amongst his consultants.
- How frequently would the Prophet ﷺ repent to Allah?
- The ibadah & fasting of the Prophet ﷺ.
- The Prophet ﷺ being a beautiful example for one who fears Allah.
