Welcome back to Share Your Story with Ellie! Today on the show, you’ll hear Part 1 of my conversation with my dear friend, mentor, and sweet sister Leticia Sandstrom, or as everyone calls her “Trish” or “Trisha”. Trisha lives in North Dakota and works as a nurse while also serving as a leader of her church’s prayer ministry.  She previously served as an overseas missionary with an organization called YWAM, and she continues to share her passion for the global church through short-term missions. She generously loves and serves her family and friends, and above all else, she is committed to growing in relationship with Jesus.
I call her my sister, because she lived with our family for two and a half years, when I was in high school. God ordained that time together, and Tricia continues to be a guiding voice in my life as I learn to walk more closely with the Lord. She has a gentle spirit but a fierce command by the power of Christ. She has such a beautiful story, and I cannot wait for you to glean so much wisdom from her.

In Part 1, we'll discuss the story of her being adopted, trusting God to walk into missions, learning from the global church, and how to hear from God.
