Listen "The Struggle with "Otherness""
Episode Synopsis
The start of school has me pondering all the trials and tribulations of fitting in and dealing with change, discrimination, and judgement. It's no wonder middle school kids don't want to draw attention to themselves. It's hard work coming to terms with how the world views us, and then figuring out how to move forward with that information. Unfortunately our society believes that weight can and should be manipulated. So when we feel uncomfortable and as if our body doesn't "fit in" with others, our natural instinct is to "fix" it. Join me as I think through this a bit and consider next steps! Are you interested in working with me on making peace with food and your body? My next group kick-off is next week and I would love to have you. Here is a link for more information on it! go.shamefreeeating.com/program
