At the end of 2021 I quit my 6 figure, once dream job of working on Radio heard across the country… to start a business. A podcast business. This is a podcast about starting that podcast business… SESSION in PROGRESS   This series is inspired by 'Start Up' the story of Gimlet Media told through the voice of Alex Blumberg. Alex's podcast being a huge success as he chronicled the rise of his Podcast Company to its acquisition by Spotify for a reported 200 million dollars. Alex and I have uncanny similarities Both come from extensive radio and production backgrounds Both Fathers  Both knew/know nothing about business  Both had dreams of changing the landscape of video/audio I listen to the 'Start Up 'podcast to give me hope that there is light at the end of the tunnel, that I'm not crazy for thinking I have the ability to move the meter with my knowledge and skills, and that there is a need and want, more than ever, to tell real stories in a world of artificial lives and technology.
