Episode Synopsis

Welcome to part 2 of the podcasts' Service With New Purpose Series! Basically, I'm now dedicating most of the podcast to speaking with brilliant and visionary service-oriented minds that are now living and working in a whole new world of service. Whether people work in a dormant service industry (i.e. bars/restaurants, hotels), an active one (online stuff, essential services, etc.) or are simply living a service-oriented life, they are facing tremendous challenges that are offering potentially valuable insights for the rest of us. Many have been kind enough to speak with me and give me the opportunity to learn how they are serving their communities and also themselves as they adapt to the endlessly unfolding uncertainty. Have a listen and witness our innate human ability to serve, re-formed into whatever it needs to be help those who need it most.In this episode I speak with Albert Bitton the founder of New York restaurant Shoo Shoo and his Feed Our Frontline Healthcare Heroes Fund. The project allows him to convert his restaurant and staff to a production facility that provides healthy meals to overworked medical professionals across about a dozen of New York's crowded hospitals. Our conversation was a deeply inspiring look at how one service industry can provide something so important to another.Recommended Pairings:Podcast Episode 6: Next Level ConscientiousnessAll Roads That Lead to Albert Bitton:Feed Our Frontline Healthcare Heroes Shoo Shoo Restaurant Shoo Shoo Restaurant (Instagram)Go Deeper Into The Mindful Service Movement:Explore The Book ToC w/ Live Content LinksJoin the Facebook Community & Bring Us Your Service Struggles & Insights!Follow Me on Instagram & Learn Mindful Ninja MovesSubscribe/Review on i-Tunes & Support the showCheck out my partnership with The Institute for Organizational Mindfulness
