In Matthew 6:19-24 while Jesus is teaching us to lay up treasures in heaven, and addressing loving God versus loving money, He speaks about the importance of clear vision. The eye (vision) is the lamp of the body. A clear vision brings light. Someone who has normal (good) eye sight, we say they have 20/20 vision. If the eye (vision) is bad, the whole body is in darkness. In darkness you don't know where you are going. In darkness you could stumble and fall. A clear vision brings light. A clear vision helps you know where you are going. A clear vision keeps you from stumbling. A clear vision helps you stay focused. Have a clear vision of where you desire to go spiritually this year.
