Stewardship is traditionally thought about as the management of resources. This perspective and definition is anchored in both scarcity and hierarchy. Placing a steward above what they are stewarding. As we move away from hierarchal views of life stewardship requires an acknowledgement of the precious and the sacred of everything around us. Stewardship in the age of expansion, in the dawn of the new earth is to be entrusted with the honoring of something sacred.
