Episode Synopsis
Sedona not only has the stunning red rock landscape, but has been the home of Yavapai College, a unique college, an interesting and varied selection of courses, it encompasses 6 campuses. The college has been apart of Sedona since 1966. It has the capability of indoor, outdoor and zoom classes. The backdrop is wonderful for the Astronomy class, the culinary program so much to choose from, open houses, fundraiser with proceeds going to scholarships.
Linda, is the Associate Dean, currently oversees noncredit (enrichment) learning at Yavapai College. In this role she is involved in developing classes for learners of all ages. Programs include College for Kids, Community Education, EDventures, and the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute.
