Listen "Ep 45 - A Kid in a Candy Store"
Episode Synopsis
In this episode of Searching for McGuffin; George, Dan, Gabe, and Link, discuss the amount of content, media, food, and options around us. Lately the internet seems to drown us in new stuff everyday; and while that can be a good thing, it has become extremely overwhelming to be surrounded by so much. New content is coming out faster than ever and from all places. It's becoming increasingly hard to navigate all these options.
I pitched this to the group because I had become overwhelmed with keeping up with brand new content for the podcast. In the pitch, I used the analogy of us, the consumers, being kids in a candy store. Candy is great but if you leave a kid to his own accords, then he'll over do it, eat too much, and get sick. Candy is great in moderation, but its up to us, the consumers, to take in this media at a pace that works for us instead of the pace that works for those creating it.
