Sectarianism Is Carnal
And I, brethren, could not speak to you as to spiritual people but as to carnal, as to babes in Christ. I fed you with milk and not with solid food; for until now you were not able to receive it, and even now you are still not able; for you are still carnal. For where there are envy, strife, and divisions among you, are you not carnal and behaving like mere men?
I was saved with Milk:
"For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life."
John 3:16 (NKJV)
But I didn't understand the Meat:
"For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. “He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God."
John 3:17-18 (NKJV)
NOTE: Evangelists use gospel Milk so Non-Believers can easily digest the truth of Jesus Christ. - BUT Church must equip the Body of Believers to digest the same gospel message as Meat so they mature through discipleship and can / will go out and make disciples. I was made a Convert and not a Disciple My Denomination Focus on growth of congregation - NOT the person. Stunted spiritual maturity for years. Almost walked away because I knew there SHOULD be more to faith life, but ONLY heard same pulpit jokes motivational verses weekly. Disillusioned by HUNGER
