We are celebrating National Athletic Training Month and we have two VERY special guests with us today. Our friends, and Athletic Trainers, Micki Collins and Ryan Green.
Micki Collins serves as LSU’s Director of Sports Medicine.
As LSU’s Associate Athletic Director/Director of Sports Medicine, Collins oversees healthcare for LSU’s 450 student-athletes as well as managing the athletic department’s sports medicine team, which includes 25 athletic trainers, more than 10 physicians, massage therapists, chiropractors, and physical therapists.
Ryan Green serves as an Associate Professor and Athletic Training Program Director at Southeastern Louisiana. He has been a certified athletic trainer since 1997.
Ryan and Micki discuss the important role that athletic trainers play in the sports world.
