"Once we are vulnerable with our partner about our finances, you work better together because of that vulnerability that was shared. It allows each partner to be on "even playing fields". No one is better than the other rather, we are better together." In this episode, I talk about starting the conversation with your partner/spouse on combining finances and understanding the potential benefits and resistance that can come from it. I share my personal experience with my previous relationship having our finances seperate which, led to an individualistic approach to now combining finances in my current relatioship. I also add in perspectives from other people in hopes of providing a different approach to potentially combining your finances. Creating healthy conversations around finances can possibly strengthen your relationship and get everyone comfortable in Saying The F Word.
