Listen "7-27-21: $30 Million dollars? Just ask George."
Episode Synopsis
I would love to hear from you, just send me text and let me know what you think of the podcast.Throughout my career as a baseball player, financial planner and executive coach, I have seen firsthand the importance of treating people with kindness and respect. Not just because it’s the right way to be but because others are always watching us and our actions follow us forever. This was never more true than when a former teammate of mine I’ll call “George” was denied a trade late in his career to a team I was playing on because I, and several other veteran players told management that he was a bad fit and would be terrible for the locker room. The player we traded for instead wound up with a $30 million contract and “George” was soon out of baseball. People see what you do and don't care what you say. "George" cost himself $30 million dollars by his actions. Remember, Sax in the Morning swag is now available on my Instagram site. Go to "Sax in the Morning" underscore podcast.
